Bovine blood is rich in minerals and trace minerals, especially iron, that are important for the health and vitality of dogs and cats. Iron is a component of hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body, and myoglobin, a protein that provides oxygen to muscles.

Bovine blood is also rich in calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese and zinc. It also contains proteins that consist of amino acids. Amino acids are needed for the structure of the genetic material in each body cell.

A supplementary food, suitable for dogs and cats. An excellent topper for picky eaters too!

Blood is an excellent dietary supplement for dogs and cats with significant anti-inflammatory properties. A natural source of unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and D. You can feed the amount either once a week or over several days.

Keep raw-frozen products frozen until ready to use. Our raw-frozen products should be stored frozen at -18°C in the freezer. Before feeding, should be thawed in the refrigerator.

Raw-frozen products can be kept for at least 12 months in the freezer. Freshly opened products should be stored in the refrigerator and fed within 72 hours.

SAFE HANDLING
Wash all work surfaces, utensils, hands, and food bowls with hot, soapy water after handling raw meats and poultry. Keep raw meat and poultry away from children and separate from other foods.

PREPARATION & SERVING
Leave the package to thaw in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours before feeding. Only serve raw products when completely thawed - Frozen foods can be difficult for animals to digest. Never microwave any pet food.

We recommend stainless steel bowls when feeding any raw product. Other materials, such as plastic and porcelain, are porous and can trap germs over time.
