As the name suggests, whole frozen sprats include all components of the fish, which provides a wide range of essential nutrition for pets. Sprats contain quality protein as well as being a rich source of Omega-3 essential fatty acids ' which are great for promoting bone, heart and joint health. Sprats are also rich in vitamins D, B6 and B12, niacin and phosphorous which contribute to a multitude of bodily functions, as well as iodine which supports the metabolism and thyroid.

Whole frozen sprats are a biologically appropriate and natural food for dogs and cats. Chewing and gnawing on sprats provides huge enjoyment for pets, as well as causing a natural release of serotonin, the "feel-good" chemical. They are also a great way to add a variety of textures and tastes to your pet's diet.

Our high-quality whole frozen sprats are a biologically appropriate and great-tasting treat for both cats and dogs. Feeding Instructions

Feed 2-3% of the dog’s or cat's ideal body weight per day, ideally spread over two meals. We recommend a feeding any dogs over the age of 6 months twice a day. Depending on the breed and the age of your puppy, they can move to adult ratios, larger puppies can move over sooner, but still feed puppy rations until they are fully grown.

Keep raw-frozen products frozen until ready to use. Our raw-frozen products should be stored frozen at -18°C in the freezer. Before feeding, should be thawed in the refrigerator.

Raw-frozen products can be kept for at least 12 months in the freezer. Freshly opened products should be stored in the refrigerator and fed within 72 hours.

SAFE HANDLING
Wash all work surfaces, utensils, hands, and food bowls with hot, soapy water after handling raw meats and poultry. Keep raw meat and poultry away from children and separate from other foods.

PREPARATION & SERVING
Leave the package to thaw in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours before feeding. Only serve raw products when completely thawed - Frozen foods can be difficult for animals to digest. Never microwave any pet food.

We recommend stainless steel bowls when feeding any raw product. Other materials, such as plastic and porcelain, are porous and can trap germs over time.
