Würfli Cats | Chicken "Balanced" Menu

A high-quality BARF meal, created to meet all the nutritional requirements of your cat. Made entirely from fresh meat, it offers a highly digestible, flavourful and energy-dense food, full of essential amino acids, vitamins and dietary macronutrients.

This menu contains 98.5% high-quality chicken meat and offal, supplemented with 1.5% taurine. The combination of these premium ingredients provides the essential nutrition cats need for optimal health and well-being.

Cats have high requirements for protein and the amino acids that protein is made of. Specific essential amino acids such as taurine and arginine, and fatty acids such as arachidonic acid, are imperative for a cat to consume in their diet. These nutrients can only be found in meat. Carbohydrates, including grains and vegetables, are not naturally part of a cat’s diet, so cats are not biologically designed to consume or digest these ingredients. All the nutrition a cat requires can be found in raw meat.

Chicken: is actually considered one of the leaner meats, so it may be supportive in providing the protein your dog needs without adding extra calories he doesn’t. Chicken is a good source of glucosamine and essential amino acids, making it great for bone health and building lean muscle tissue.

Feed 2-3% of the cat's ideal body weight daily, ideally spread over two meals. Cats prefer their food very fresh and warm. Kittens should be fed 5-6% of their growing body weight. We recommend a feeding any cats over the age of 6 months twice a day. We recommend feeding 5-6% until fully grown.

• Step #1: Preparation

Once you're ready, take out your pet's meal from the refrigerator. Only serve raw products when completely thawed - Frozen foods can be difficult for animals to digest. Never microwave any pet food. This takes a bit of foresight, but once you're used to the new diet it becomes very easy to remember when to take out new portions to thaw!

• Step #2: Serving

Once your cat's meal is fully thawed it’s time for feeding! Feed an appropriate portion to your cat, preferably in a separate bowl. We recommend a stainless steel bowl as it can easily be cleaned. Other materials, such as plastic, are porous and can trap germs over time. Remove any unconsumed food (if there is any!) within 20 minutes.

Storage

Keep raw-frozen products frozen until ready to use. Our raw-frozen products should be stored frozen at -18°C in the freezer. Before feeding, should be thawed in the refrigerator. We recommend you allow 2 days for the meals to fully thaw before feeding. Freshly opened products should be stored in the refrigerator and fed within 72 hours.

Safe Handling

Wash all work surfaces, utensils, hands, and food bowls with hot, soapy water after handling raw meats and poultry. Keep raw meat and poultry away from children and separate from other foods. It’s important to clean your pet's bowl after each meal, which is why we recommend using a bowl that can easily be sanitized. Wash your hands and your pet's bowl with warm soapy water after each feeding.
