Turkey: is very lean meat and is known for quality protein and low-fat properties, making this turkey menu a great choice for dogs who are overweight or suffer from weight-related conditions. Turkey is also rich in potassium, zinc and essential amino acids which all contribute to the maintenance of important body functions such as muscle activity, heart function and nervous system function.

Chicken: is actually considered one of the leaner meats, so it may be supportive in providing the protein your dog needs without adding extra calories he doesn’t. Chicken is a good source of glucosamine and essential amino acids, making it great for bone health and building lean muscle tissue.
