Catch of the Day Menu (Rabbit)

A high-quality BARF meal, created to meet all the nutritional requirements of your cat. Made entirely from fresh meat and vegetables, it offers a highly digestible, flavourful and energy-dense food, full of essential amino acids, vitamins and dietary macronutrients.

This menu contains 95.3% high-quality rabbit meat and offal, supplemented with biologically appropriate vegetables and minerals. The combination of these premium ingredients provides the essential nutrition cats need for optimal health and well-being.

This recipe is specially designed to cater to the nutritional needs of cats. Cats require quality sources of protein in their diet, as it is used for a multitude of bodily functions and is their primary source of energy.

• Rabbit Meat: A lean, hypoallergenic novel protein rich in essential amino acids, iron, and B vitamins. Supports lean muscle development, energy, and is ideal for cats with food sensitivities.
• Carrot: A source of beta-carotene (provitamin A), fiber, and antioxidants. Supports eye health, immune function, and digestion in small, cat-appropriate amounts.
• Coconut: Provides medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) for quick energy, as well as antimicrobial properties. Supports skin, coat, and digestive health.
• Organic Rosehip Peel: Naturally rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. Supports immune health, joint function, and reduces inflammation.
• Bitterless Brewer's Yeast: A natural source of B-complex vitamins, amino acids, and minerals. Supports skin and coat condition, appetite, and immune health — without the bitter taste often disliked by cats.
• Cod Liver Oil: High in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A, and D. Promotes brain function, joint health, healthy skin, and a glossy coat.
• Organic Seaweed (Ascophyllum Nodosum): Provides natural iodine, antioxidants, and trace minerals. Supports thyroid function, dental health, and immune support.
• Taurine: An essential amino acid for cats, crucial for heart function, vision, reproduction, and a healthy immune system. Must be supplied through diet, as cats cannot synthesize it themselves.
• Vitamin E (natural origin): A powerful antioxidant that supports immune function, skin health, and cellular repair. Derived from natural sources for better absorption and efficacy.

Feed 2-3% of the dog's ideal body weight daily, ideally spread over two meals. We recommend feeding any dogs over the age of 6 months twice a day. Depending on the breed and the age of your puppy, they can move to adult ratios, larger puppies can move over sooner but still feed puppy rations until they are fully grown.

• Step #1: Preparation

Once you're ready, take out your pet's meal from the refrigerator. Only serve when completely thawed - Frozen foods can be difficult for animals to digest. Never microwave any pet food. This takes a bit of foresight, but once you're used to the new diet it becomes very easy to remember when to take out new portions to thaw!

• Step #2: Serving

Once your pup's meal is fully thawed it's time for feeding! Feed an appropriate portion to your dog, preferably in a separate bowl. We recommend a stainless steel bowl as it can easily be cleaned. Other materials, such as plastic, are porous and can trap germs over time. Remove any unconsumed food (if there is any!) within 20 minutes.

Storage

Keep raw-frozen products frozen until ready to use. Our raw-frozen products should be stored frozen at -18°C in the freezer. Before feeding, should be thawed in the refrigerator. We recommend you allow 2 days for the meals to fully thaw before feeding. Freshly opened products should be stored in the refrigerator and fed within 72 hours.

Safe Handling

Wash all work surfaces, utensils, hands, and food bowls with hot, soapy water after handling raw meats and poultry. Keep raw meat and poultry away from children and separate from other foods. It’s important to clean your pet's bowl after each meal, which is why we recommend using a bowl that can easily be sanitized. Wash your hands and your pet's bowl with warm soapy water after each feeding.
